Partial Shading of PV Array

http://www.sustainableenergy.com/index.php?id=6
This research field is still progressing day after day even if the innovation of PV technology has been discovered since 1893. Because of unpredictable variation of solar radiation [W/m2] and ambient temperature [Kelvin: K] at the surface of Photovoltaic (PV) panel, a high efficiency algorithm of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is necessary in order to make its full output power utilization. In this laboratory, various algorithms are proved especially based on two classical techniques, i.e. Incremental Conductance (INC) technique and Perturbation and Observe (P&O) technique, in order to find out the appropriated technique for each ambient condition case. Begin with computer simulation (MATLAB/Simulink) by using aplenty accurate mathematical PV model then hardware implementation is used to validate the proposed concept.
